Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Appointments and Visits

Q: Do I need an appointment for my child's visit?

A: It depends on the type of visit:

  • Sick Visits (Walk-Ins Welcome): We welcome walk-ins during all operating hours for children requiring urgent attention due to illness or acute symptoms.

  • Scheduled Services (Appointment Required): All scheduled services, including childhood vaccinations and developmental assessments, require a prior appointment. Please contact us via WhatsApp or phone to book your slot in advance.

Q: What are your clinic hours and public holiday policy?

A: Our standard hours are:

  • Mon, Fri: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM

  • Tue – Thu: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Evening Clinic)

  • Sat: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Sun: CLOSED

We are open on selected Public Holidays. Please call or WhatsApp us ahead of time to confirm our operating hours for that day.

Q: How long should I expect to wait for a walk-in sick visit?

A: Our waiting time for walk-in sick visits varies based on the number of prior appointments and the general patient volume.

  • During Non-Peak Hours (Most weekdays outside of the evening clinic): You can generally expect a waiting time of 15 to 30 minutes.

  • During Peak Hours (Weekdays 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM and Saturday mornings): Wait times may be longer, typically ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

We recommend calling or WhatsApping us ahead to get the most current estimate of the queue and waiting time before heading to the clinic.

Q: What should I bring to my child's appointment?

A: Please bring your child's MyKid/Birth Certificate and their Health/Immunization Record Book. For subsequent visits, please bring any relevant test results or specialist letters.

2. Fees, Insurance, and Payment

Q: What are your general consultation fees?

A: Our consultation fees vary depending on the complexity of the case (e.g., standard sick visit vs. comprehensive check-up). Please contact us directly via WhatsApp for the most up-to-date fee structure and specific quotes.

Q: Do you accept medical insurance or guarantee letters?

A: KinderCare Clinic does not participate in any medical insurance panels. We operate on a direct payment basis.

If your child's visit is covered by private medical insurance, you will need to pay for the consultation and services directly at the time of your visit. We will provide you with a detailed invoice and official receipts, which you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement (pay and claim).

We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your visit to confirm your policy's coverage and reimbursement procedures for non-panel paediatric clinics.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept cash, QR, credit/debit cards, and common mobile payment options.
